A study jointly conducted by a Saudi university with a British university reveals the similarities and the differences in the managerial styles in the Middle East.

The report mentions a pattern of relatively strong reliance on both formal rules and unwritten rules in some countries in the Middle East while others are adopting more modern approaches.
